Every year since the Windmill Theatre's final curtain in 1964 Mrs Margaret Law aka Margaret Cooper has hosted a reunion party for the Windmill Girls and Boys and other artistes who trod the boards of that famous stage.
On the 17th of July 2011 there were eleven Windmill Girls at the reunion: Moira Murphy, Maureen Clayton, Jill Millard, Jean Mara, Mandy Mayer, Sadie Comben, Margaret Cooper. Margaret Nicolson, Iris Chapple, Wendy Clarke and Peggy Martin.
Their ages ranged from 63 to 87 years. The youngest at 63 is Margaret Nicolson who appeared in the final performance at the Windmill and the oldest at 87 is Peggy Martin who was at the Windmill during the Blitz. Windmill Boys present at the reunion were Barry Martin, Malcolm Davey and Dean Threadwell.
