The Gaiety Theatre, North Street, Brighton

Also known as - The Royal Hippodrome Theatre

Brighton's Theatres Index

The Gaiety Theatre in Brighton, not to be confused with the Gaiety Cinema in Lewes Road, Brighton which opened in 1937, was built in 1876 and closed in 1910.

The Theatre was also known as the Royal Hippodrome for a period.

According to the Theatres Trust Guide there is still a fragmant of the Theatre surviving but I have so far been unable to find out any more about this Theatre.

Arthur Lloyd is known to have taken his tour of Ballyvogan here in 1891.
