Above - Globe newspaper cutting, Saturday Evening, October 13, 1849 - Courtesy Colin Charman, who writes:- 'My ancestor Richard Pridmore took a lease on Savile House as it was in October 1849. Richard Pridmore applied for a license to present musical entertainments and he had some convincing to do before it was granted. The report (Shown Above) is for the magistrates hearing and was printed in the Globe newspaper, dated "Saturday Evening, October 13, 1849.' See also Little Ena Dayne by Colin Charman.
