The Pegasus Theatre is situated on Magdalen road, Oxford, just outside the city centre. It is a multi-purpose Arts Centre which specialises in Youth arts, new performance work, and emerging companies and artists. Featuring the 'Pullman Stage' which is a flexible format studio performance space. The building also features a dance studio, meeting rooms, and Café, together with other spaces. It is able to offer a platform for youth and community activities, rehearsal space and a construction space for visiting companies.

The Theatre's auditorium is coloured dark grey, with a sprung dance floor stage, having tiered seating for 133 people. The stage dimensions are - total width 9.3 metres by 7.4 metres deep, with a height from floor to lighting rig of 5.3 metres. The wing space is very generous being 5.5 metres by 4.1 metres on stage right, and 5.3 metres by 4.8 metres on stage left. There is however no backstage cross over, this having to be created by placing black tabs (curtains) one metre from the rear wall.

Backstage there is one large dressing room at ground level on stage left, suitable for four to ten performers, however this can be split into two dressing rooms of one to five performers. There are also two toilets and two showers. The get in dock doors onto the stage are at ground level and are 2.3 metres (7 feet 7 inches) high by 1.8 metres (6 feet) wide.

The Theatre offers a varied programme of professional performances and events and is a welcome asset to the city of Oxford.
