The Questors Theatre is situated on Mattock Lane in Ealing. The current building was opened by Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, in April 1964. The Theatre replaced a former theatre space which had been a conversion of a small church situated behind the 1850s Mattock Lodge. The church conversion was used by the Ealing Boy Scouts and the Questors Theatre Club from 1933.

In 1938 the Questors Theatre Club took over sole use of the converted church building. The Club had been founded in 1929 as an amateur theatre group, and under the artistic direction of one of its founders, Alfred Emmet, it soon grew into a popular and successful theatre company.

The current Questors Theatre, which opened in April 1964, is equipped with a thrust stage, three rehearsal rooms, and a small studio Theatre called the Constantin Stanislavsky Room.
